Terms of Service

By accessing or using the MyDocX website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Our service

MyDocX provides access to consultations with independent AHPRA‑registered Australian doctors via telehealth (phone or video), and doctor home visits in the Brisbane/Logan region where available. We comply with Australian healthcare laws, Medicare requirements where applicable, and AHPRA guidelines.

2. Not an emergency service

MyDocX is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a life‑threatening emergency, call 000 immediately. Telehealth has limits — some concerns require in‑person examination, urgent care or hospital services.

3. Clinical discretion

Medical certificates, prescriptions and referrals are issued only where clinically appropriate, at the doctor's professional discretion, following a real‑time consultation. A booking does not guarantee any particular outcome.

4. Fees, Medicare and refunds

Fees are set out on our Fees & Billing page. Bulk billing and Medicare rebates apply where eligible. Membership and pay‑per‑visit pathways are separate from bulk billing. Refunds are considered in line with our cancellation policy and applicable law.

5. Cancellation policy

Please give at least 2 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a telehealth consultation, and 24 hours' notice for a home visit. Late cancellations may incur a fee as described on Fees & Billing.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to provide accurate information, use the service for legitimate healthcare purposes, and not misuse booking systems or attempt to obtain certificates, scripts or referrals without a genuine consultation.

7. Privacy

How we handle personal and health information is described in our Privacy Policy.
